CALLING ALL COUPLES- if you know me...you know couple’s work is my FAVOURITE so i’m SUPER excited about these!

Applications are officially open for the next three concepts in my ongoing Editorial Studies series.

Each study explores a different aspect of human connection, identity, emotion, and storytelling through a cinematic editorial lens.

This week’s concepts are:

POWER EXCHANGE
An editorial exploration of dominance, surrender, trust, tension, and the subtle ways power shifts between two people. This concept is designed to be artistic, emotionally evocative, and visually striking.

INTIMACY STUDY
A visual exploration of connection through touch, closeness, movement, and presence. These sessions focus on the details that tell a story: hands, skin, body language, and the spaces between people.

CENTER OF GRAVITY
An artistic study featuring one woman and two men, exploring attraction, influence, tension, and the invisible forces that draw people together. The goal is to create imagery that feels cinematic, layered, and emotionally compelling.

These Editorial Studies are being created specifically for portfolio development and artistic exploration.

Participants selected for the project receive special creative collaboration pricing in exchange for signing a full model release for both photography and behind-the-scenes video content.

No modeling experience is necessary. I’m looking for real people who connect with the concept and are excited to help bring these ideas to life.

Applications are officially open!!!

For the past several months, I’ve been collecting ideas, saving inspiration, sketching concepts, and dreaming up projects that don’t quite fit into a traditional portrait session.

Today, I’m excited to officially launch the first three concepts in a new series of editorial portrait studies.

Over the coming months, I’ll be releasing three new concepts each week, each centered around a different theme, story, or artistic exploration. Some will focus on femininity. Some on motherhood. Some on friendship, intimacy, masculinity, movement, identity, and human connection.

The first three concepts now accepting applications are:

SHADOWS & SILHOUETTES

A black-and-white editorial portrait study focused on timeless femininity, striking silhouettes, fashion-inspired styling, and cinematic imagery.

MOTHER MUSE

An editorial maternity series celebrating strength, beauty, transformation, and the experience of becoming.

KINDRED

A glamorous portrait experience celebrating friendship, connection, chosen family, and the women who walk through life beside us.

These concepts are being created specifically for my portfolio and artistic development.

Because participants will sign a full model release, they will receive special creative collaboration pricing that is significantly lower than my typical portrait experience, which generally represents an investment of approximately $3,800.

No modeling experience is necessary.

In fact, these concepts are not intended exclusively for professional models. I’m looking for real women, real friendships, real stories, and people who genuinely connect with the vision behind the project.

Hey everyone,

So, for the last few months, I’ve found myself pulling inspiration from everywhere.

Fashion editorials.
Motherhood.
Human connection.
Friendship.
Movement.

The way light falls across skin.

The stories we tell without ever saying a word.

And instead of waiting until I had the “perfect” time to explore these ideas, I’ve decided to do something different.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be opening applications for a brand new series of editorial portrait studies.

These won’t be my traditional portrait sessions.

They’ll be creative collaborations built around specific concepts and artistic themes I’m actively developing for my portfolio.

The first concepts opening tomorrow are:

• Shadows & Silhouettes
• Mother Muse
• Kindred

Each concept will include professional planning, styling guidance, and the same artistic attention that goes into every Vera Glass Imagery experience.

In exchange for a full model release allowing me to use the images for portfolio and marketing purposes, participants will receive special creative collaboration pricing that is substantially lower than my typical commissioned portrait experience.

No modeling experience is required.
