A short reel from my recent demo video. Now available on my YouTube.

I often shoot raw drone footage for other companies where I do not get to edit or control the final product delivered to the customer. I decided to take the footage from a recent shoot I was contracted for with KB Homes and make my own video.

If you are a developer looking to show off your new community development, drone photography and videography are the best ways to capture not only the entire neighborhood but details on the homes.

Ferrari Friday!

Had the opportunity to shoot an event with Ferrari of Austin during their event for the Ferrari Challenge weekend. Was an awesome time being around so many amazing cars. The morning consisted of a gathering at Ferrari of Austin, followed by a short es**rted drive down to Cabela's to meet up with the Ferrari of San Antonio group, and finally a drive over to Circuit of the Americas for the Ferrari Challenge races.

I had a lot to cover between photos and drone and was not equipped to shoot proper rollers. But did my best hanging out the top of a Jeep Gladiator freehanding with a 70-200 attached 😂😂😂. Thank god we had a police es**rt and they ignored the camera guy hanging out the roof, but I got some good shots of them too. Put my photoshop skills to a bit of use for these and gave them more of the "roller" feel.

LMPSLB - Well, they said Super Lap Battle and some folks said "Hold my beer" and brought LeMans Prototypes.

For those who know me, there are two types of racing I follow the most: Endurance and Rally. Getting to shoot LMP cars on track at COTA was just an awesome opportunity. I really had to take advantage of the time these cars were on track as we don't have a major endurance series that comes to COTA. So, getting to see these cars on my home track... yeah, just special.

Ready to dive into the weekend like this Spoon Honda is diving into Turn 1 at COTA.

Every time I see this car on the track I always get some epic cornering shots. Not the usual 3 wheel shot I have posted in the past, but the compression on that front right and the driver being on that side too... epic moment.

GLTC - Built not Bought

I love that Super Lap Battle has added the Gridlife Touring Car series to the weekend. It gives this racing series a chance to get on track at COTA and gives me an opportunity to capture more awesome cars.

Although I am definitely a latecomer to the Gridlife events, after having the opportunity as independent media at their Pikes Peak International Raceway event I am definitely a fan! Gridlife has different opportunities for people to go racing in their own cars. Also, getting to see these guys do a standing start on Sunday morning was a rare and epic moment. Some of my favorite shots from the weekend came out of Turn 20 in the early morning Sunday.

McLaren 720GT3X - basically, take McLaren's amazing GT3 spec 720, and throw out the FIA rule book and build an unlimited track car. Was truly fortunate to watch this beast on track during Super Lap Battle. Congrats to Cameron Lawrence and Rafa Martinez for taking the 1st place Pro/Comp trophy and setting the new record.
