Austin-based indie rock band Ragabash delivered a killer performance of the Kill Bill soundtrack at Hotel Vegas on 8/28. 🔥 With elaborate attention to detail and music spanning multiple genres and styles, the show was a total treat for movie buffs and music aficionados alike. ⚔

Complete with costumes and visuals by , Ragabash went all-in on the concept, and it made for an amazing night of photography. 🤩 Here are a few of my favorite frames!

Austin music scene veterans Holy Wave celebrated their latest release, "i'm DADA," with support from 101X Homegrown at the 29th St Ballroom on 8/21, before embarking on a European tour this September. 🔥

Supported by post-punk shoegaze collective Queen Serene and melodic punk trio Language, the night was a killer showcase of Austin’s ever-evolving indie scene.

Sharing some exciting news! 🎉 The Long Covid Collective and my photodocumentary project, Long Covid: The Full Picture, were featured in the latest issue of Cope Magazine!

The article about the photo doc comes with a big announcement: Long COVID: The Full Picture will make its public debut as an exhibition and fundraising event in Spring 2027! ✨💜 We are so thrilled to have secured a partnership with the University of Texas Project Advance program, and we will be working with a very talented team of students to plan and execute the event.

The Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo official at Haute Spot, August 9, 2026. 🔥🎸

The legendary French-Spanish group brought their signature blend of flamenco, pop, and Latin rhythms to Cedar Park. With hits like “Bamboléo” and “Volare,” plus decades of international touring under their belt, the Gipsy Kings have long been one of the most recognizable names in world and Latin music. ✨

Currently touring with the group is founder and longtime bandleader Tonino Baliardo, an internationally recognized guitar virtuoso and composer whose playing has helped define the Gipsy Kings’ iconic sound.

Supported by Texas natives and 3x Grammy nominee Jase Martin and The Standing Peppers.

Their friends were determined to keep everyone guessing by planning not just one gender reveal, but FOUR fake-outs before finally revealing the big news. Every time they thought this was the moment... surprise! The reactions just kept getting better. 😂

Summer celebrations! 🎉 This week, I'm sharing images from a very special day with my regular clients, Richa and Akshay. I first met them two years ago and have been there for their major life milestones - but this is a big one! 💜

Before their gender reveal party, we captured these intimate couples' portraits in their beautiful home, utilizing available spaces and natural light. ✨ They always bring the fashion and come ready to pose, and I absolutely love the results. 🤩

Highlights from the AVID Summer Institute 2026 at the San Diego Convention Center, bringing together educators and students to collaborate on instructional strategies that prepare kids for college and meaningful careers. 🍎💜

Education-based conferences like this one were my full-time job for 8 years, so capturing these moments reminds me of how many amazing people dedicate their lives to teaching and the difference it makes for these students. ✨

Conference season, continued!

Monday, I shared keynote sessions, panels, and networking. Today, we're focusing on conference social events. 🥂

Evening events and receptions are part of conference programming to give attendees time to connect with one another and strengthen ties to the organization. Capturing social events calls for a completely different approach from the conference itself. The focus shifts from conference content to company culture - the personality of your organization.

Successful social event imagery is less about what is happening and more about how it *feels* to be there. For The Artemis Fund’s receptions, attendees enjoyed a gorgeous outdoor gathering one evening and a boat ride under the iconic Pennybacker Bridge the next. These are the kinds of images that create a little healthy FOMO, helping to bring in future attendees, members, and supporters. 👀

Conference season is in full swing!

Summer is primetime for conferences, and this week I'm sharing different aspects of conference photography, from keynote coverage to social events, headshots, and everything in between. Every conference has different goals, and knowing what makes for great branding moments is the key to making event images that become valuable marketing assets. ⭐️

Today, I'm sharing images from The Artemis Fund's annual Hunter's Summit, held at The Holdsworth Center. The Artemis Fund is a female-founded venture capital firm investing in highly scalable, tech-enabled companies founded by women.

For this day of the event, my focus was on capturing the Artemis experience: speakers and panel discussions, authentic networking moments, and a handful of casual headshots attendees could immediately put to use. The result is a gallery that becomes a valuable resource for attracting new talent, engaging prospective investors, and promoting future events.
