I finally have some free time to share my highlights photographing for SXSW this year. As always, I stayed particularly busy listening to and documenting a lot of people I admire. Some favorites that stand out were Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, and the rest of the cast and crew of What We Do in the Shadows. Henry Winkler leading an acting workshop. Elisabeth Moss speaking with Brandi Carlile. Aisha Tyler moderating a talk with the cast and crew of Good Omens including Neil Gaiman, Douglas Mackinnon, Michael Sheen, David Tennant, and Jon Hamm. Robert Rodriguez leading a filmmaking masterclass and premiering his new film, RED 11. Trevor Noah with the Daily Show cast. Shirley Manson of Garbage with Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches. Olivia Wilde discussing her directorial film debut, Booksmart. The prolific writer-producer Marti Noxon discussing her directorial debut of To The Bone. Multiple award-winning documentary filmmakers Morgan Neville (20 Feet From Stardom, Won't You Be My Neighbor?) and Jeff Malmberg premiering a work-in-progress of their new episodic, Shangri-La (which is amaaazing). Judith Light with the rest of the cast and crew of Ms. White Light. Charlotte Flair and Paul “Triple H” Levesque discussing women's evolution in WWE. International afropop and raggae artist, Stonebwoy. An inspiring SXSW Community Service Awards ceremony. And last but not least, Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond of Beastie Boys!
