It was such an honor to shoot my dear friend Sonia’s graduation photos. Meet her when she was an incoming freshman and our friendship carried on as the years went by. I saw her fight hard for her grades and academics all while staying sane and leaning in on her faith. I’m so proud of this friend! Also, isn’t she just a beauty? Life update! I recently moved to Chicago, Illinois! I know! It was all sudden yet just felt like the right timing! It’s been a challenge to adjust to such a different culture (and the weather). I now consider 40 degree weather warm and I never thought I would hear myself say that (If you really know me, I can get cold very easily lol). But it’s also been refreshing and exciting and new. This is the start to something that’s been on my heart since I was a thirteen year old girl. It’s a dream I carried for years, gave it to God and watched Him open doors I never would’ve thought to see. I hope and pray to continue my photography business out here, in due time as I continue to settle myself in. In the mean time, I’ll be visiting Texas around February and would love to reconnect with clients to help me build my portfolio so be on the lookout!
