Hot take: your wedding coordinator might be one of the most important vendors you hire. 👀

A great coordinator isn’t just there to tell you when to walk down the aisle. They’re working behind the scenes long before the wedding day. Helping with vendors, reviewing details, building timelines, answering questions, and making sure everything actually comes together.

As a photographer, I work sooo closely with coordinators to build a timeline that works for everyone, keeps the day flowing, and makes sure we’re getting those portraits in the best light. 📸

Just one big, beautiful day. ✨

I always love photographing weddings at Pecan Springs Ranch. It’s easily one of the best venues for golden-hour portraits, with lush greenery and the prettiest light.

Not a fine w**e. More like a box of w**e. But, in honor of another trip around the sun, here are a few things about me:

✨ I’m the fun kind of Type A. Organized, slightly controlling, but we’re gonna have a good time.

♍️ I’m a Virgo, but don’t ask me about crystals because I have absolutely no idea.

🐶 I love dogs, but Boxers have my whole heart.

🐠 I love my fish, even though I’m admittedly not the world’s greatest fish keeper…. We’re all doing our best over here.

🎶 I was a band kid in high school, did ballet for several years. I’m also a pretty damn good with a shot gun. (Yes that pic is not a shot gun.)

📸 I learned how to photograph people through bo***ir photography, which eventually led me to weddings and somehow turned into a whole career.

✈️ I love to travel, and Iceland is hopefully next on the list.

⚜️ I’m originally from Louisiana, which probably explains at least a little bit of my personality.

😂 I can be a little crass, I love a good joke, and one of the many reasons I married my husband is because he can make me laugh harder than anyone.

I’ve always loved traveling to National parks around the country. My parents were big on camping when I was little. I was a junior ranger for countless parks, always ran to get my stamps and badge. Filled that little blue book up over the years. If I could wish for anything it would be to transition into a traveling elopement photographer, I throughly enjoy it. This was an adventure for the books. & appreciate J&C for letting me be apart of it. ✌🏼

Jessica + Chase said “I do” in Glacier National Park with blue skies, mountain views and absolutely no bad angles. 🏔️✨

The day took us up Going-to-the-Sun Road for a first look at Logan Pass, wildflower portraits at Oberlin Bend, iconic mountain views and Jeep photos at Big Bend + Paradise Meadow, and finally, down to Lake McDonald for their ceremony. 💍

Perfect weather, jaw-dropping views and the sweetest just-married adventure. Glacier, you were everything. 🤟🏼

It was everything and more 💫

Even tho I’m stuck at an airport right now, this trip to Glacier National Park in MT was everything. Watching Jess & Chase elope in the mountains will forever live rent free in my head. What an experience, and can’t wait to share more of this day.
