I had asked mom and dad to sneak a quick kiss, thinking I'd catch him looking at me while they were doing so.
He instantly turned to catch them and giggled with the biggest smile.
He LOVES the love his parents share. And I loveeee capturing these sweet little moments in-between!

Hi grapevine family! �
I have a quick baby & holiday update for you:
We’ve ran into the higher possibility of baby coming early. This is due to recently discovering that she's part of her own little 1% club, with only having one artery in her umbilical cord. Which means she'll need extra eyes on her with extra ultrasounds and weekly testing to monitor her growth in the coming months.
So in light of that, I’ll be closing my books for maternity leave come December. To allow sole focus on her development, eliminating any possible extra stressors. With plans to ease back into things come February.

This means Christmas and Santa options will come a bit earlier this year! 🎅🎄✨

We will have one date for each:

❄️ STUDIO UPDATE:
The studio will be set up minimally, due to having that higher risk factor tagged on for babe. It's taken a lot of thought and consideration to decide finally- I simply just can't bring in the trees and decor like I've done previous years. It requires hauling heavy totes, and trees down from our attic and just doesn't feel very smart being in the position I am.
However I will still offer my timeless white set ups with touches of holiday cheer, which are perfect for coming in with your matching pjs, or fancy formal holiday wear.

While I had those big plans to add additional sets with Santa this year at the bigger studio location, baby’s development says otherwise. Which calls for me to be back and forth between home and Lapeer for testing each week in the months to come.
So this year, I will be sticking to our own studio for another round of holiday fun. And thankfully, with us shooting earlier in the season- we won’t be chancing slick backroads or anything too crazy weather wise. So all will surely be wonderful, during the most wonderful time of the year. 🥰

Thank you all so so much for taking the time to read through. And honestly being so patient in the past weeks with editing collections and updates here on socials. This bit of information really shook us a bit. So I've been doing everything I can to stay calm during the height of wedding season. August was my busiest month this summer, with a whopping 4 weddings- one each weekend- & 25 galleries between leftover Sundays & weekdays. With September and October being just as full. 🥲😅🤪

So I LOVE you ALL! I APPRECIATE you ALL!
And I can't WAIT to see your families and kiddos this coming November before the official slow down for our own family. 🥰

Diving into our Ankley collections, starting off with Miss Makayla.
A peep into her senior session just before the giant storm rolled in. The lighting was awesome with the little amount of sun that we did have. Paired with the soundtrack of the thunder rolling in, off in the distance. Thankfully no lightning. But the perfect balance of cloud coverage to keep us cool, and sunlight to feel like summer!!

So thankful for having the absolute best clientele. Today we were facing spotty storms during our summer sets at Ankley Farm. So I had moved everyone up an hour ahead of our original schedule.

When I had arrived, the rain moved right up with all of us and we were forced to wait for it to lighten up. Which came in small increments lol. 😅
But I do have to say, we made it work and we all had the best kind of fun even if we were facing sprinkles and less sunshine than we had all planned.

Heading home I was greeted with a rainbow, and I can’t lie- I got emotional. The hormones hit full force, and I shedded a few tears. I’m so grateful to have clients and a grapevine that is openly flexible when needed most.

Of course, I would’ve rescheduled it if anyone had asked, however, everyone was so eager to get out there regardless of the weather- to just be together and make memories no matter what. And I couldn’t be more grateful and thankful for that.

Griffin & Megan are officially The Jacksons!
Happy first week of marriage to some of the most lovey-dovey people I've ever had the honor to capture. Their personal vows had everyone in tears, and struck home in so many ways.
I personally loved the moment that they invited everyone up to pray over them during their ceremony. What a special touch, being physically surrounded by God & family.

The Ankley Family Farm offers gorgeous scenic tree lines, vintage trucks and tractors and unique set ups sprinkled throughout the property.
As well as multiple sunflower fields that rotate for blooms through to the end of season.
And of course we can't forget their amazing pumpkin displays! They spruce up each area around the farm for the season with pumpkins, gourds and mums galore.
(And you're even welcome to purchase them & take them home if you'd like! They offer the biggest variety of pumpkins I've ever seen. You seriously can not beat their prices! )
