Getting to photograph Hope & Jake's wedding was one of the highlights of my summer. The ceremony was beautiful and I just I don't have the words to express how glad I am that I was able to be there for them.

James and Sam are one of the cutest couples on the planet, though I may be just the tiniest biased as James is my cousin. Being there for their elopement was so special and I will forever be grateful that my husband and I were there to witness it.

It has been quite a while, but I hope everyone is having a good holiday season. While we're not out of the woods yet with COVID, thanks to masks and vaccines I've had the privilege of photographing a few weddings. I'll share some more images later, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm available to book for shoots and appreciate everyone who follows the page. Thank you!

Hello, Friends! I've had a good number of people checking out my page recently and I just wanted to pop on and let you all know where I've been. With the current pandemic I have not been out shooting, and do not plan to until it seems safe to do so. I have multiple immunocompromised people in my small circle that I do not wish to harm, nor would I want to spread anything to clients. While I'm sure other people are doing proper social distancing to shoot and I wish no disrespect to them, it's not a risk I want to take. I do plan to pick up shooting with others in the future, and will let you know when I do so. Until then I'll be staying home, baking sourdough bread and reading books that help me be a better ally to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Stay safe & be well!

Happy 2020, everyone! I figured I'd start out the year with a little intro, so you know who it is behind the camera. I'm Sarah, I've lived my whole life in Rochester (sans a few years for college) and I'm just a short gal who enjoys capturing moments and making images that make people feel great about themselves.
As you probably noticed a lot of the photos I take are in the parks we have in Upstate New York. Our green spaces are something I really appreciate about the area. I really enjoy spending time outside, which is fitting since I've spent a lot of my life describing myself as a "filthy hippie." I do have experience working in-studio as well, and I'm looking at different options for studio spaces to use/rent in the new year, but nothing beats golden hour for me. Plus there are animals outside and I love all of them.
For my "day job" I work for a photo studio that does school photos, as well as daycares, photo booths, and other on-location shooting. I really enjoy it, as it's given me the opportunity to work with a lot of different people and kids as well as with different equipment. Plus I've gotten to work with some really great, creative people.
I really enjoy live entertainment so maybe you'll see me out & about attending a lot of fun concerts and comedy shows this coming year. I don't normally splurge on stuff, but experiences are totally worth it to me. Also vegan donuts- they are priceless.
Rapid fire fun facts: I'm 26, a Slytherin, married with 2 cats, went to Edinboro University and am an Alumni brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, can play the saxophone & bassoon, listen to a lot of music by The Dollyrots and Kesha, and enjoy avocado in pretty much every form.

So for 2020 my main goal is to work with as many new people as I can. Families, couples, artists, content creators, anyone looking to capture or create memories. There is just nothing better to me getting to connect with someone, get to know them, and capture who they are.
