Now hiring: Demolition Specialist. No experience necessary, must love cake.

My sweet nephew Owen is turning ONE soon, so of course Aunt Ash had to get him in for a cake smash. We started with a few family photos, then brought out the cake and let the birthday boy handle the demo. He left the jobsite a bit of a mess, but he did some solid work!

Soaking up the last little bit of summer before life gets busy again.

Soon, one of these girls will be heading back to college, and the other will be kicking off her senior year. Time has a funny way of speeding up, so I'm always a fan of pressing pause for an evening, chasing some golden light, and making a few memories together.

Here's to one more summer sunset, one more evening together, and an amazing school year ahead!
