Specializing in amateur outdoor portrait photography I work out my house as well as in a local bank so please be patient when contacting me I will get back to you as soon as possible. I do sessions in the San Juan and La Plata counties with a 15$ gas fee anywhere 25 miles out of Aztec. I am available some weeknights in the summer and fall months as well as the weekends through out the year. Please

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it until my last breath, those candid Pinterest photos come from being IN THE MOMENT with your family. You stop being, feeling, and looking awkward the second you become present with your family, your comfort. Pretend like the camera isn’t there! If I need your eyes or smile I’ll direct you for that. Otherwise take in those snuggles that are only given freely for so many years. Look into your lovers eyes and relive the years you’ve conquered together. C+U were a dream, a match made in heaven if you will. U had a concept in her head of a romantic evening reading and chasing each others through the flowers. Her ideas and style came to life as we frolicked through Jack-A-Lope Acres - Farm & Entertainment . Seeing the way C looked at U while they danced and giggled was so sweet. We lost an extraordinary woman this week. truly don’t know anyone who hasn’t been inspired, motivated, or touched by Dolly. She was a glittering light in an industry full of dry closed off people. Her philanthropy and commitment to community and care was unmatched. May we all take a lesson or two from the Queen of rinestones. Rest peacefully Ms. Parton

Last week marked a year since I lost my grandma. I had spent 4 years taking care of her while she suffered from dementia. She was a huge part of my life and who I am as a person. We spent weeks looking through boxes and books of photos she had printed and saved. When I went back to my camera something changed about the way I looked through my lens. I saw the memories saved in photo albums and boxes. I mentally went back to the hours of looking through photos that told my grandmas stories. I stopped chasing a perfect pose and started looking for the story of the moment. I pay attention to the way your hands look now, your big laughing smile (the one your family loves to see), the way you snuggle into each other. Capturing things you’ll miss when they are gone. Grief changes you in a lot of ways but I’m glad it opened my creative eye to a place that prioritizes preserving legacy.
