If you’re planning right now, remember you’re allowed to do things differently:

• Have your ceremony somewhere meaningful instead of somewhere expected �• Invite only the people who are a part of your every day life, not just those expecting an invitation�• Turn it into a weekend experience instead of a rushed schedule�• Skip traditions that don’t feel like you�• Build a day around what you two actually enjoy doing together

People get so caught up in what they think a wedding is supposed to look like that they forget the whole point of it. This day is about the two of you choosing each other and starting a life together. It doesn’t need to follow anyone else’s template.

If you’re deciding whether to add Super 8 wedding film to your elopement, it really comes down to how you want to experience your memories later.

Digital photography captures detail beautifully. It gives you images to frame, build albums with, and hang in your home. It freezes moments in time in a way that’s clear and timeless.

Okay, hear me out... elope in Zion

Wake up slow in a little Airbnb with red rock views, pack your vows and some snacks, and head out before sunrise. The cliffs are glowing pink, it’s quiet, and it’s just you two, completely present. No distractions, no pressure.

You can hike to a private overlook, say your vows with the wind in your hair, and spend the day exploring together. Maybe cool off in the river, then get a beer or lunch at the Zion pub. Whatever you do, you get to do it your way!

Zion is one of those places that makes everything feel bigger and quieter at the same time. If you’re dreaming of something simple, wild, and meaningful this is your sign.

Okay, it was so cold this day 😂 but these two were such troopers. We wandered around the Utah desert, found the prettiest spots, and they basically just hugged the whole time to stay warm. Zero complaints, just lots of laughs and the dreamiest photos.
