Join us for our March 5 In Person meeting at Resource Center 8:30 am

In this meeting Sue will discuss pros and cons of self-printing (whether actually printing on a home printer or sending out to print companies).

Photo printing is a massive topic, with a myriad of variables that most people don’t know about. My presentation wouldn’t go in depth explaining all that stuff in detail (it’s technical and boring!) but would explain what to look for in a good commercial print company or budget-friendly home printer. I will give personal recommendations on solid choice options in both categories.

Event Highlights:

Networking: Begin with a meet-and-greet and a 30-second introduction from each attendee to share about you and your business.

Keynote Presentation: Sue Ryan, Sue Ryan Photography

Open Networking: Connect with other attendees after the presentation.

Additional Notes:

Parking: Please park in the lower lot and enter through the side entrance on the left. The upper lot is reserved for MRC and those needing closer access.

Community Contribution: Consider bringing a non-perishable item to donate to the Mountain Resource Center.

My annual Photography 101 class is happening again for 2026! If you got a new adjustable camera over the holidays, or you have a camera that you never learned how to use off Program mode, this is the class for you! Requires a camera with adjustable shutter speed, aperture (F-stop) and ISO. Six week class begins March 2 through April 6, at my Conifer studio. $300 for the entire series. Here's what you'll learn:

How shutter speed, aperture, and ISO work together
Controlling those settings to get the look YOU want
Focal length, lens choice, and how they affect the look of your image
Basic composition
Seeing photographically
How to use color creatively, and black &white
