Let's talk about posting images on social medias. Especially for photographers who shoot a lot of babies, children and families.

First and foremost. I Am 100% in supporting NOT posting any child/childrens faces on my page.

This is why I ALWAYS ask in your questionnaires and contracts if you DO NOT want your images on social medias. I RESPECT that as I don't even post my little one.

It's been a scary world for a long time and with the recent changes and approval with the use of AI and images involving children are terrifying. I do NOT have to post your children.

Please let that be very clear, that when you come to me for a session. I DO NOT HAVE OR NEED to post your children on my page to show that I have done a session.

If you do NOT post your images on social media, or hide your children's faces, then I support and respect you a million times over and over and will not ever post your images or be upset that I cant.

I have been doing this for years and it has not affected my business in anyway.

However there are some families who still post their families and children and approve it on my end. I will keep moving forward with what my clients wishes are.

I have SEVERAL clients who have come to me for years that I don't post a single image of their family and Neve have on any socials of mine.

But please please know if you upload your images to anything.....they are now out there.

I don't think we should be bashing any photographers, families or anyone for posting what they do. It is there choice.

I just wanted to make it known and very very clear that I am all for NOT posting and posting what I am allowed too.

I wont put anything over faces like hearts or emojis. blurred out because those can be removed. It will be faces hidden and not shown at all. Back of heads, etc.

I am happy to share whatever you allow me to and If you don't allow me, just spread the word on your experience with me and refer me to the people you know :) Word of mouth is honestly 90% of my clientele and bookings.

Morning!

Just an update.

We had an emergency with our little guy that landed us a stay in Bangor Hospital. We are still currently here.

Unfortunately sometimes things happen and I am not able to work. Emergencies happen and things get put on hold.

During busy season for me is June-oct-galleries are taking 3-4 weeks. This is not my normal return time but neither is 24 hrs or even 3 days. At most 2 weeks. When summer hits, things get busy, plus my home life and kiddos.

I promise you I am working on everyone galleries in order and constantly and have been sending senior session sneak peeks.

I will contact you when they are finished and ready!! I am so excited that you are excited for your galleries. It makes my heart full 💕

As soon as we are home and settled I will resume all editing, messages and calls

It was a stressful weekend and hospital stay. So my husband and I appreciate the patience 🥹

I really don’t like sharing much, especially like this. We didn’t tell anyone but moms and kids. But running a business is rough and I hope you can just have some grace with me this week.

She is such a sweet girl and was so excited for her session. We had the best time, the bestttt lighting and she is an absolute doll. It was so much fun and she couldn't be more perfect.
