As a photographer I'm always looking to capture the "perfect shot". And it’s nice when that happens. But there are times when the "perfect picture" is a "mistake" picture.

Shots that I completely missed or shots that happened because my finger accidentally hit the shutter button. Here are a few "mistake" shots that I’ve gotten.

A little tweak there, a little black and white there, now these photos are some of my favorites.

Generic bland art mass produced from a warehouse printer overseas is not what you should be showing off. Support work from an artist who TRULY loves what they do.

Yes, having a DSLR/mirrorless camera is a wonderful thing to have and use.

This is Corey. He came up to me in the parking lot and asked me for gas money. Now I NNEEEVVVEEERRRR give out money to panhandlers. But I wanted to try something… so I said "I’ll give you some money but you gotta take a picture for me."

I showed him some of my work so he wouldn’t think I was some weirdo and he said 'yes'. Luckily I had my nifty-fifty and was able to get the shot. 😁
