Pride Month is a celebration of love in all its beautiful forms, and it’s one of the greatest honors of my work to document the stories of couples who choose to trust me with theirs.

Photography is about so much more than creating beautiful images. It’s about creating a space where people feel comfortable being fully themselves. A space where love is celebrated without hesitation, where laughter is welcomed, where emotions can be felt freely, and where every couple feels seen, valued, and safe.

To every LGBTQ+ couple I’ve had the privilege of photographing: thank you for allowing me into your lives and your stories. Your love, your resilience, your joy, and your authenticity inspire me every day.

There’s something about spring weddings that feels effortless. The world is waking up again, flowers are beginning to bloom, the days stretch a little longer, and there’s an unmistakable energy in the air.

Pair that with the excitement of a wedding day—the anticipation, the happy tears, the laughter shared between friends and family—and you get something truly special.

From thoughtful details and garden vows to champagne toasts and a packed dance floor, every part of this day felt filled with life. A celebration not just of a marriage beginning, but of a season that reminds us that beautiful things are always worth waiting for.

The getting ready portion of a wedding day holds some of the quietest and most meaningful moments. The ones that happen before the aisle, before the music, before everything officially begins.

The dress reveal with the girls, filled with excitement and disbelief that the day is finally here. The groom laughing with his closest friends, trying to shake the nerves building underneath it all. Parents stepping in to help with the final touches, fastening jewelry, straightening ties, sharing heirlooms and memories that carry generations of love with them.

It’s the part of the day where anticipation lingers in the air. Where emotions slowly rise with every passing minute. And while it may seem small in comparison to the ceremony or reception, these are often the moments couples look back on and feel the most deeply.

The beginning of the story deserves to be remembered too 🤍

Some of my favorite sessions are the ones where the photos begin long before the camera ever comes out.

This maternity session was built with so much intentionality — from the vintage crib, to the florals, to the soft textures and quiet little details that helped tell the story of a family waiting to meet their baby. Every element was chosen carefully to create something meaningful, personal, and beautiful.

What I love most about photography isn’t just taking the photos themselves. It’s the planning behind them. The conversations. The coordination. Helping guide outfits and styling. Learning what matters most to my clients and figuring out how to bring those feelings to life in a way they can hold onto forever.

Creating unique scenes like this is such a fulfilling part of the process for me, and I especially fell in love with this setup. I’d absolutely love to create something similar again before I part ways with this crib.

Malta gave us warm sea air, soft pastel skies, and the kind of evening that slows everything down just enough to savor it. Watching these two wander barefoot along the shoreline felt less like posing for photos and more like stepping into a memory they’ll keep forever.
