Last weekend I photographed the 2026 Oakenmist Renaissance Faire and loved capturing so many people having a good time, listening to music and watching demos (loved the natural fiber dyeing, and I also wish I was brave enough to try out the SCA combat!), and I got to meet lovely merfolk and adorable little hobbits. 🥰 Here are a few favorites from the day, and the full gallery you can browse below.

I am so excited for MAGFest's 2027 theme announcement that I had to share some throw back photos from the first cosplay I ever made. Not too bad for a first attempt! The rivets on the shield were made from large googly eyes, so they shook and were noisy and gave themselves away walking around with it. 😹 I have learned a lot since this costume (and these photos!) but this one will always be a favorite. ❤️

Welcome Spring! We did just that on Saturday night at the Spring Faerie Ball 2026 with Piper Jones, Brinjal, Clipper City and the Coronation of a new King! - finding joy through music, dancing, incredible amounts of creativity, and an amazing community always 🥰

Happy 2026! 🥳 I got to celebrate again at this year's Time Travelers Ball, hosted by Baltimore Faerie Faire and Baltimore Steampunk at the beautiful Lord Baltimore Hotel. There were so many gorgeous costumes and performances by Frenchy and the Punk, Paolo Garbanzo, Hot Todd Lincoln, and Vince Wilson Paranormalist!
