The older I get, the less I care about perfect photos.

I just want to remember how life felt.

The hand reaching for yours. The laugh you didn't expect. Another autumn together before the seasons change again.

Because one day, these ordinary moments will be the ones you'll miss the most.

I have always loved these minis, which I host every year, but now... It hits different. Having my own baby and feeling so desperately how quickly the days and months pass... I see love, families, laughter, joy, tears -- so, so differently now. With reverence. With Romance.

Maybe that's what growing up does.

Maybe it's what becoming a parent does.

Either way, I want to preserve it all.
