You guys.

IT WORKED.

I can't believe it, but we found someone who was willing to meet us where we were in our ticket quest. And, assuming they give me permission, I can't wait to show you the beautiful photos their family will have, over time, in return.

I want to take a minute to let you know that I created this offer out of love for my husband, his love of his Baltimore Ravens and just how much he was beating himself up over his missed AFC Championship opportunity through his own PSL. And, also for his seat mate who has been a supportive and loyal friend to me for nearly 40 years. If it weren't for him, I probably would not have met my husband, and that, friends, is also priceless.

But, what is the most over-the-top part of this whole story? The absolutely abundant, incredible, genuine, heartfelt, altruistic, transcendent, inimitable amount of support we received:

Friends. Clients. Neighbors. Co-workers of his. People we didn't know. OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS. People who use other photographers. Absolute strangers. Our closest circle. People without tickets who just wanted this for us. People WITH tickets trying to talk their significant others into the trade. People offering to buy sessions to help me pay the markups. People offering to buy tickets to sell to me at face value. Friends offering to go to Gate A at 4:30am on Friday morning in spirit gear to help me high-kick my way to these tickets. Tagging all day and all night. Sharing over and over again. So many screen shots. So many messages through the night. Not. One. Person. with a negative thought. People who know me clarifying what this was (and was not) about. Every single person wanting this for us/him and sending happy, encouraging, loving messages. I mean, it was just - - - - wow.

We manifested some good human nature, didn't we?

I'll never be able to thank each and every one of you properly. But I will try. As promised, I'll be raffling off a free session from the absolute congregation of GOOD DECENT HUMANS who shared my posts.

And another free session from anyone who commented or sent us well-wishes, notes of encouragement, leads or ideas.

And a discount code for everyone because I'm just so unbelievably touched by the outpouring of love, kindness and wanting-good-things-to-happen-to-others - most with nothing to gain - that I experienced this week.

Photo friends, I rarely cross-post. Well, let’s be honest, I rarely post at all…

But today I want to share another part of my life - Bits and Bobs - a business I started with a gal I met as a photo client.

As most of my sessions go, we chatted & connected and realized we had a lot in common, including our love of supporting small businesses in our community!
