I was first introduced to this beautiful Queen close to 27/28 years ago. When I first laid eyes on her, she was singing, dancing, and jumping while the sound of drums filled the room we were in. I was in awe of her because if gravity truly exists, it didn't for her that day.

I enjoyed this playtime with Mama Kibibi Ajanku, storyteller, activist, artist in many forms, and the Queen of House Ajanku.

When I received a message from my beautiful client, Mama Armeta La Verne Gray, that she has named her photo session with me "Lights and Laughter", I had to go and take another look at the photos captured during our time together.

Just as it warmed her heart, reviewing her photos warmed mine as well. I loved everything about where we ended up. SYNERGY took place and her smiles were many toppings on the cake! These are just a few of the last shots taken.

Thank you Mama Kibibi Ajanku for introducing this beautiful spirit into my world.

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you."

A couple of weeks ago, I photographed an awesome event for my dear friend, Carmen M Stone Roberts. During the event, she shared a tip about saving a dime a day and provided coin wrappers for guests.

I remember saying within myself, "Lord, I don't know the last time I saw a dime. Lol. I wouldn't mind saving a dime a day." I chuckled at the thought and continued enjoying the event.

The following day, I was assisting my daughter with clearing out her storage unit (because the Lord just blessed her and her family with a home!!! Hallelujah!) While walking down the hall, I came across...not one, but TWO dimes!

It shall be done unto you...and it was! The Most High not only came through: He doubled it!
