That golden hour glow ✨
It just has a way of making everything feel softer.

Engagement sessions like these are less about posing and more about letting you two just be together while the light does its thing. If you’re drawn to photos that feel warm, simple, and real, this kind of setting never disappoints.

Engagement session in Fells Point by the Pendry Baltimore? Yes, please.

Give me those cobblestone streets, the water just a few steps away, and live music carrying through the air any day. Mm, something about this part of Baltimore that makes everything feel a little more effortless, like you can just wander, hold hands, and let the moment unfold without overthinking it, while I tag along behind you.

The mix of historic charm and city energy creates the perfect backdrop for couples who want something that feels both elevated and real. Nothing forced, just you two, exploring, laughing, and soaking it all in.

If you’re looking for a location that feels like an experience, not just a backdrop, Fells Point never misses.

Loving the details on this one 😍
The right venue sets the tone for your entire day, from the way light moves through the room to how it represents you! Around Baltimore and nearby areas, I’m always paying attention to how a venue photographs, not just how it looks in person, but how it supports a calm and intentional experience for you.

Details like windows, layout, and even the direction your ceremony faces can make a big difference in how your gallery feels as a whole. When everything works together, your photos feel effortless instead of staged. That’s the kind of environment that lets your story come through clearly, just like this one. If you’re still deciding on a venue, this is something I’m happy to help you walk through!

Happy first birthday, little girl! A year ago, I was documenting her first days in this world and now she’s one whole year.

So much has changed! The tiny, sleepy newborn moments have turned into personality, movement, and the sweetest little expressions that are completely her own.

Looking back on these early days a year later puts everything into perspective. What felt slow and quiet at the time somehow passed so quickly. Those cute forehead wrinkles, the way she fit so perfectly in mom and dad's arms; those are the memories that don’t stay, but matter more as time moves on.

If you’re wanting to hold onto moments like this, I’d love to help you capture them in a way that feels natural and true to your family.

What started as a sunrise date turned into a moment they’ll come back to for the rest of their lives. That morning the river was still and the town hadn’t fully woken up yet. No big audience, no distractions, just the two of them as he asked her the most important question. And the riiiinnnggg!!! Giving me princess vibes.

Photographing proposals like this always remind me that it doesn’t have to be elaborate to feel meaningful. It's the simplicity and intimacy that makes it unforgettable. Those are the moments that photograph the most honestly ... especially because she had no idea I was there (although my big hidden lens was definitely catching her eye at one point!)

If you’re planning a proposal around Baltimore, this is exactly the kind of approach I help guide you through.

You don’t need to know how to pose to look natural in your photos. That’s my job.

Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera at first. That's totally normal and I definitely still feel that way. Especially if you’ve never had professional photos taken before.

Instead of stiff posing, I guide you with small movements: walking, adjusting, leaning in, laughing through it. It feels more like interacting with each other than performing for a camera.

This is something I’ve refined through my background in film and storytelling in college; focusing less on perfection and more on connection.

The result? Photos that feel like you, not like a structured photoshoot.

If you’re worried about feeling awkward, you’re not alone, but don't worry, you won’t stay that way for long! This is something I guide you through every step of the way. :)

The calmest part of the wedding day usually isn’t what you’d expect.

It’s not the ceremony. Not the reception.
It’s the quiet moments right before everything begins.

I’ve been in bridal suites across Baltimore where everything feels a little chaotic. There are hair curlers plugged in everywhere, dresses hanging, music playing in the background.

But then there’s always this shift.

A bride steps into her dress, or in this case, a full blown tiara. The room slows down. Someone tears up. Someone laughs. And for a second, everything feels still.

Those are the moments I’m always watching for. Not posed. Not forced. Just real.

Because years from now, that’s what brings you back. It's not just how it looked, but how it felt.

If this sounds like the kind of moments you want captured, you’re on the right page.

Most couples don’t realize how much a timeline affects their photos.

If your timeline feels rushed, your photos will feel definitely rushed too. It’s not about having more hours, it’s about placing the right moments in the right light.

In Baltimore, sunset shifts quickly depending on the season. A ceremony at 5:30pm in October looks very different than one in June, especially now that Day Light Savings has just started! That’s why I always help couples build their timeline around the natural light, not just logistics.

For example, If time allows, I like to suggest moving couples portraits closer to golden hour instead of immediately after the ceremony. That small shift can completely change how your gallery feels: softer, more relaxed, more intentional.

This is something I walk every couple through so your day doesn’t just run smoothly, it feels good too, AND you're more relaxed throughout your big day :)

Save this for later if you’re planning your wedding timeline.

Yep! That’s me, your wedding photographer 👋
Almost missed this while I was editing, could you imagine? Anyway, that’s how you know your ring is legit, it’s so shiny 🪩

I shot the cutest micro-wedding a couple weekends ago and I’m struggling not to post the whole gallery! The bride and groom asked me to keep their faces hidden until their big wedding celebration in the spring. So for now, enjoy me editing myself out of these gorgeous rings 🤩

One easy tip to improve your photography workflow!

I’ve actually never had a camera battery system .. just kinda charged them and threw them in my bag 😬
This is definitely one of those behind-the-scene systems that can totally change how smoothly a wedding day or lifestyle session goes!

When I know which batteries are charged vs dead, I’m not missing moments or breaking my creative flow. If you see my camera, just know my battery is smiling inside happy to be there :P

Save this for later. Future you will thank you on shoot day 🤪
