When I sent Maddy & Tyler their wedding photos I remember them telling me that I was their lifetime photographer.

To hear something like that is truly the best feeling in the world because honestly, it’s crazy to be a part of documenting such an beautiful part of someone’s life and then never see them again 🥺 (i miss you allll)!

So whenever I get to document my couples life moments past their wedding day — it makes me so giddy. Especially when it’s their growing family 🤍

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but not far from the heart of DC, Jenna & Dominic celebrated their love with the sweetest intimate elopement 🤍🕊️ They were surrounded by seven of their closest loved ones, incredible art & architecture, and the peaceful sounds of nature — what more could you ask for?!

No one mentally prepares you for how beautiful it is to witness your little brother proposing to the love of his life but I’m here to tell you, it is truly magical.

I couldn’t hear anything they said to one another, just the sounds of the waves crashing & warm breeze from the incoming storm. But the way Meg gazed softly into George’s eyes while he spoke to her so intentionally before he got down on one knee—said it all.

The way these two love each other is so magnetic & as a sister, it’s the most incredible thing to witness. To see two people I love so dearly experiencing a love that they both truly deserve is so unbelievably beautiful.

I’m beyond excited to officially be able to call Meg my sister-in-law (as if I haven’t been doing that for years already) because she is truly one of my favorite humans in the whole world. Like, are you kidding me — how lucky am I to have the two of the most incredible souls to call my family?! 🤍

Needless to say, many tears were shed this weekend, and I know it’s just the beginning 🥹😭

Emily & Mac chose to split their wedding into two days & it was so perfect 🤍 Here are some sweet moments from day one — they had a small intimate ceremony overlooking the Chesapeake Bay surrounded by their closest family & friends then a gorgeous candlelit dinner filled with the sweetest toasts, lots of tears, & so much laughter.

From a photographers perspective, splitting up the days like this was sooo amazing because Emily & Mac were able to be intentional with their people & have more intimate moments while also knowing they would be able to party with more people that they love the next day (minus any anxiety or stress that might come along with a larger wedding)!! Basically just the best of both worlds!!

Anna & Drew celebrated their love surrounded by their favorite people, lots of beautiful animals, nostalgic 90s music, & the most magical fireworks ✨

A photo that hits me the most is actually the very last two in this set. It was right after the cake cutting when Anna and Drew were surrounded by the sounds of booming fireworks, gentle laughter, and sizzling sparklers. I just remember watching as it hit them. They were married. Surrounded by all this magic & love. I remember watching as they cried & hugged each other tighter.

Being able to witness moments like this is truly one of the most incredible things in the world & I’ll never take it for granted 🤍

Kim & Jake wanted a low key & memorable way to celebrate their marriage, so when Jake came across , they immediately knew that’s what they wanted to do!! And I was so excited when they asked me to be a part of it!! 🤍

They did a little ceremony in the beginning that was officiated by Captain Iris. Then they celebrated with champagne, relaxed, chatted, & took photos all around the boat ☺️ We even just barely beat a huge storm that was rolling in (you wouldn’t even know because look at those blue skies)!!

And if you’re curious if I felt comfortable on a sailboat the answer is YES! Because fun fact—my parents now live in St. Michael’s & I grew up sailing with my dad & family! I even went to sailing camp with my best friend, , & our brothers when we were young! So even when it’s been a while since being on a boat, I always feel so at peace on the water.
