And every mother’s child is going to spy, to see if reindeer really know how to fly. Christmas Eve magic. ❤️🌲🎁 Andddddd then 5 minutes later Violet was throwing up. Really book ending the season after kicking it off with some tree farm throw up. You guys, Santa is tireddddd. .

Our Christmas cards have been a process to get this year. There have been errors in printing and shipping and everything in-between. I still don’t have them in hand. And then, of course, there’s the initial exercise of trying to get a shot of three children (one of whom is in “RUN” mode). Here’s an outtake from our attempts. I’m realizing now that I should have just gone with this image for the front of the card, because this is the most accurate picture of our life. Fingers crossed our cards are in the mail before 2020.

Starting this little side business has been kind of a crazy trip. It’s hard to believe that strangers want me to show up to their homes and take pictures. So grateful for all of these opportunities. And so lucky to squeeze in all these baby snuggles! This sweet shot is from last weekends big brother session. .

The last time I posted I said I was going to start posting regularly again, but then I didn’t. I blame summer. And three kids. And whatever else to get me mentally off the hook. Giving regular posting another go! Just delivered a gallery to this lovely fam. I’m typically not one for props, but when this momma busted out her family’s vintage scale (swipe right), I was definitely on board.

I haven’t been posting lately. Three kids have a funny way of taking up all of my time. But, despite the lack of proof on social media, this little photography business of mine has been keeping me extra busy this summer. So busy that I’m going to be raising my rates soon.
