Yesterday evening while out looking for wildlife I just happened to see this shot. I’ve seen this spot hundreds of times but this time with the lighting and haze it just looked different.

This suspension bridge hangs over the creek that runs away from the waterfall from a few days ago. I had sat right next to the water flowing over the edge while taking this photo.

I’m always looking for an opportunity to shoot wildlife photos. While this one is more of a fish in a barrel situation, like the mushrooms from a few days ago this toad provides a nice contrast from the moss and ferns around it.

While it was a bit to chilly to climb underneath this falls there was access above and behind this one. There are plenty of angles to get a good look at this one.

Since I have one nice mushroom photo I am now always on the search for photogenic fungus. While the mushrooms in this photo are not by themselves dramatic they provide a nice contrast from the moss and leaves around it.
