double post today…read below to see why this was so important to me.

a dear friend of mine (who also experienced loss) reached out to me to do a mommy daughter photoshoot for her. i didnt put two and two together, but the date we went with was october 15th, which is national pregnancy and infant loss awareness day. she had also asked me if we could include carolines angel sister, erin in the photos…and I have never been more honored.

as i type this i am teary eyed, because i think of how sad it is that we need to ask. how we automatically jump to that because our babies arent here.

Karissa and caroline, that day you inspired me and gave me strength i didnt know i had. i, too raise our children to know that they do indeed have siblings that walk beside them everyday. and they always will 💙

It has been a WHILE!

Got my hands on a roll of Kodak Gold 400 speed and I think its safe to say i adore how it photographs!

Ive had my fair share of photography challenges lately but I dove deep and enjoyed every second. Lots of requests for more artistic shoots and truthfully its what I prefer!

I was absolutely honored to shoot this one for a friend who was close to the end of her breastfeeding journey 💜 (these are just four from the roll!)

a few favorites from my last roll 🎞

did an incredible maternity session that gave me my biggest challenge yet and had to have the steadiest hand ever. couldnt have been happier with them and even in a tricky lighting situation…was able to nail my exposure.

also a little family shoot for another friend of mine and her beautiful kids.

taking a bit of time off in august and mostly just shooting for fun…but will be posting more next round of developing!

a few snaps from recent shoots…and also just some of the laid back stuff i snapped at home 🎞

thank you to everyone who has trusted me and this art…but most of all, thank you for your patience! between lab delays, and me trying to manage work/life/hobby balance…time was not always on my side. i have been doing tons of fun shoots…but thinking I eventually want to go exclusive with just maternity/motherhood/birthing shoots (if you know me, photographing a birth would be a dream to me!)

for now…enjoy this conglomerate of preggo bellies, horses, and kids 🤣

YOU GUYS! FINALLY, I HAVE CONTENT TO TALK ABOUT!

My lab in Phillys black and white processor was down for WEEKS but my gosh it was worth the wait.
I photographed april very close to the end of her pregnancy. Quite a few braxton hicks were happening — id be lying if I said I would have minded assisting in delivering a baby 😂

She looked absolutely beautiful…and if I am being honest here…that bellybutton was amazing!!

brynlees mom (who is a longtime friend of mine) wanted to do some eighteen month film pics with ice cream. little did she know — its been on my bucket list to load up a roll and get a kiddo ridiculously messy! she was perfect, plus it lead us to an impromptu double date night with our families🍦(Ill let you all guess which picture was my favorite!)
