Our dog owner in the Lola, Barrington NH missing dog case, just received the photo below and series of text messages.

I (Rob) could immediately tell that this was a poorly executed AI fake. But to be certain, I used AI Detector software, which came back as 97% FAKE.

They always ask for money, and will NEVER call you, as most of these scammers DO NOT speak English.

Sadly, these are easy to make, by importing a real pic of the dog and adding a few prompts such as "place dog inside kennel or cage" or similar.

PLEASE keep an eye out for these types of bottom feeders!

This man is a HERO in my book, and I don't even know him.

A professional pilot with Natural State Drone Solutions located a missing dog with his thermal drone.

* some parts of the video are hard to watch, but is has a VERY happy ending!

Then the unthinkable happened, as he witnessed live, a coyote attack on the missing dog. The pilot lowers his drone quickly to 12 (twelve) feet! And in the drone world, that's an INSANE low altitude! He's so low that you can visibly see the rotor wash in the grass and scrub brush!

Well it worked! And the noise and spotlight from the drone scared off the coyote!

While coyote attacks on dogs are fairly rare, it does occasionally happen. And this pilot took immediate and decisive action and saved this pups life!

Well done Sir and so happy for the pup and family!

When my strength begins to faulter, when I wonder if it's worth it to keep pushing, to keep "keeping on," I watch this video of our recap from 2025.

The "haters" are few and far between, but they are loud. But when I watch this video, and my eyes tear up, I can't hear them at all. And my strength and resolve builds back up, for when our Team heads out again, to find another lost animal.

*** Lola Update! ***

Lola came back to our trap set by Volunteers with Saving Grace Dog Rescue many times throughout the night, but never went inside the trap.

This is common that dogs come to traps, but have to build confidence and trust in the trap and the area before going in.

Here, SGDR Volunteer Dory came back out this morning and is re-baiting the trap with yummy food and liquid smoke.

Missing from Barrington NH

Lola has been sniffing around our humane trap set by Volunteers with Saving Grace Dog Rescue for several hours and we are closely monitoring the situation!

This is a great step!

Be VERY careful about donating to "fake" pet rescue scams.

Here is one of my favorite YouTube Channels, penguinz0 (aka Charles White,) covering a case that has gone viral about an "influencer" likely and purposefully putting a turtle in distress to farm likes and subscribes and $$$.

That being said, DO YOUR DO DILIGENCE and look into these things before you open your billfolds.
