We were honored to capture this surprise proposal on Friday afternoon! They live in LA, but the bride's family is from Barrington Hills. The groom found me online, and we planned everything out together over the phone, text and email. I scouted the first location he suggested, and I sent him video and photos of the different paths. He could see it was very muddy and overgrown so he changed it to her father's property close by, which is beautiful and was perfect! My assistant and I were parked on a separate private road, and photographed them like paparazzi from across the yard. It was so sweet, they walked and held hands, and then he turned to her and dropped to one knee, her hands went to her face, he pulled out a ring, there were tears and hugging and all the good things. We did a fun photo shoot after the proposal, and I can't wait to share! Congratulations to Madison and Frances!❤️
