Ghost of the mountain.

The snow leopard is one of the most elusive big cats on earth, rarely photographed, rarely seen. So when you're face to face with one and it's looking right back at you, tongue mid-lick, completely unbothered... You don't forget it.

No, this isn't CGI. Meet the babirusa. 🐗

Four tusks, zero apologies. This ancient pig — native to Indonesian islands — grows tusks that curve back toward its own skull like nature forgot to proofread. Weird, ancient, and absolutely magnificent.
