Some wedding venues are chosen because they’re beautiful.
And some are chosen because they already hold a piece of your story. 🤍
For my bride, celebrating here meant so much more than simply finding the perfect space for their wedding day. It was the last place her family had all been together before her grandpa passed — and getting to come back, fill it with the people they love, and create an entirely new memory here made this day feel incredibly special.
And then the details??? The deep burgundy, rich greens, candlelight, florals, and every little touch throughout the room, their planner, BCE, absolutely knocked it out of the park transforming this space while still allowing it to feel like them.
But tucked between all of those beautiful details are some of my favorite photographs from the day: Grandma giving the bride and groom some marriage advice. Grandma watching everything unfold. The wedding party being themselves. The tiny in-between moments happening while no one is thinking about the camera.
Because when I photograph a wedding, I’m not only looking for the portraits you know you want.
I’m looking for the people, relationships, details and fleeting little moments that will remind you exactly what it felt like to have everyone you love together in one place.
And someday, those might be the photographs that mean the most.
If you’re planning a wedding that feels deeply personal to you, comment “STORY” and I’ll send you my wedding photography information + inquiry form so you can tell me all about what you’re dreaming up.
