Who’d have thought that all those years ago when you stole my camera and said you wanted to photograph a newborn, you’d one day be celebrating a 1000 newborn photoshoots.
That’s not even counting all the maternity, 6 month, 1 year and Christmas minis.
Very proud of you.

Today, I photographed my 1,000th newborn... One thousand beautiful little lives. One thousand families who trusted me with one of the most precious moments they’ll ever experience.

When I stop and think about it, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Over the years, I’ve been blessed with countless tiny snuggles, little fingers wrapped around mine, sweet newborn yawns, and thousands upon thousands of photographs that tell the very beginning of so many incredible stories.

Being invited into those first days of a baby’s life is something I have never taken for granted. It is an honor that has humbled me from the very beginning, and even after photographing 1,000 newborns, that feeling has never changed. Every baby who enters my studio is precious. Every family has a story. Every session is a gift.

To every mom and dad who placed your trust in me, thank you. Thank you for allowing me to preserve these fleeting moments before they become cherished memories.

A younger version of me, just starting this business, could never have imagined reaching a milestone like this.

Miss Sportsman’s Paradise Teen getting ready to take Miss Louisiana Teen USA by storm in a few weeks.

The started with an on location Corporate headshot shoot for 80 people in Baton Rouge. This was fun as I had to match their head office photos.
Then back to the studio to do new employee headshots for an existing corporate client, again matching what we shot over a year ago to make sure the new employees headshots fit seamless with the first ones we shot.
Then finished off today with a consultancy firm who all saw one of their employee headshots and wanted new headshots for themselves.
I get a weekend off from the camera now to catch up on office work and finalize some conference headshots contracts.
