Also me 20 minutes later: coordinating vendors, fixing a boutonnière, finding grandma, bustling a dress, keeping the timeline on track, and making sure my couple actually gets a chance to eat. 😂

The truth is, I care deeply about more than just your photos.

Yes, creating beautiful images is my job. But making sure you feel supported, cared for, and completely present on your wedding day is just as important to me.

Your wedding day shouldn't feel stressful. It should feel like the best day of your life.

So if that means fluffing a dress, tracking down family members, carrying your bouquet, or helping keep everything running smoothly, I'm all in.

The forecast threatened rain all day, but we spent the entire wedding chasing storms that never came.

Before seeing each other, they shared the sweetest blind touch, holding hands around a corner and soaking in a quiet moment together. Then came the walk down the aisle and the look on their faces when they finally saw each other. Pure emotion.

Lakeview Gardens gave us the most beautiful backdrop for a day filled with happy tears, laughter, and so much love. Just when we thought the clouds had stolen our chance at sunset, the sky surprised us with one last gift.

And because every great wedding deserves an unforgettable ending, Marissa and Jeff finished the night exactly how they wanted to... by jumping into the pool surrounded by their favorite people.

Welcome to the world, James. 💙

Just hours old and already so deeply loved.

These Fresh 48 sessions will always have a special place in my heart because they preserve the moments that disappear the fastest. The hospital bracelet. The bassinet. The way parents can’t stop staring at their baby. The proud big sibling peeking over the edge to get a better look.

My girls have been lucky enough to call her Mrs. Hemmerich.

The kind of teacher who makes kids feel safe, loved, and important.

I’ve watched her pour so much into other people’s children over, so being trusted to capture these moments with her own was such an honor.

Because at the end of the day, no matter how many students love her, these two get to call her Mom.

And that might just be her most important job of all. 💙

Some sessions just feel like sunshine, and the Stevens family was exactly that. ☀️

I loved meeting this sweet crew and spending the evening wandering through Cellon Oak Park with them. The twin girls completely stole the show with their matching overalls, contagious giggles, and big personalities. And can we talk about Dad rocking the matching overall look for Father's Day? Absolute commitment to the theme and we loved every second of it. 💙

The best part wasn't the outfits though. It was watching these four simply be together. The cuddles, the laughter, the little moments in between. The kind of memories that feel ordinary now but become the ones you treasure most years from today.

Stevens family, thank you for trusting me to capture this season of life. Your girls are pure joy, and it was such a privilege to spend time with all of you.

I’m working on something new this summer and looking for a few families to help me bring the vision to life.

I’m searching for families with young children and a driveway or outdoor space that photographs well. Think summer afternoons and evenings, bare feet, laughter, childhood memories, and all the little moments that make this season feel magical.

I’m keeping most of the details under wraps for now because I want the final experience to be a surprise, but if you’ve ever wished you could bottle up summer before your babies grow another year older, this might be for you.

Selected families will receive a special model call rate in exchange for allowing images to be used in future marketing and promotional materials.

Ideal families:
☀️ Children approximately 2-10 years old
☀️ Comfortable being playful and interactive
☀️ Have a driveway, front yard, or outdoor space available
☀️ Available on select evenings in June and July

Some wedding days are years in the making.

For Kaydee and Adam, it all started with a dating site, grew through four years together, a son, countless laughs, family traditions, camping trips, and quiet nights spent finding their next favorite series to binge. Then one day, surrounded by family, three engagement rings were placed in front of Kaydee. Adam looked at her and simply said, "We're getting married."

And last week, they did.

On a beautiful private property in Madisonville, Tennessee, surrounded by the people who love them most, Kaydee and Adam promised forever beneath a palette of eucalyptus greens, terracotta, burgundy, and soft cedar rose tones that perfectly complemented the rustic charm of the day.

One of my favorite moments was watching Kaydee share a first look with her dad. The pride, the emotion, and the realization that this little girl was about to begin her next chapter was something words could never fully capture. Then came the moment she saw Adam. The same man who still makes her laugh like a little kid after all these years. The look on his face said everything.

Throughout the day they were wrapped in love from their closest friends and family, every hug, happy tear, and laugh serving as a reminder that the best weddings aren't just about the details. They're about the people who stand beside you through every chapter.

Kaydee and Adam, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. I cannot wait to share more from this beautiful day, but for now, here is a little preview of the beginning of your forever. ❤️

From rainy kisses under the arches in Central Park to wandering through the timeless halls of The Met, this whole session felt like stepping into a movie. The laughter, the soft little moments, the way they look at each other… unreal.

And somehow this is only the beginning because next stop: their Disney wedding at sea next May 🚢💍 I already know it’s going to be absolute magic.

So thankful I got to document this season for them in one of the most iconic cities in the world 🤍
