Shot on 120 film with my Pentax 6x7 during a quiet morning walk in Bayfield before all the smoke rolled through.

Love the detail you can get out of medium format film, I'd shoot it more often but my Pentax is so heavy and the film can be pretty expensive lmao

This was the first roll I shot at the Pow Wow and I was using a manual focus lens, missed focus on a lot of images tbh so the next day I brought my Minolta Maxxum with an auto-focus lens lmao

This was my first time shooting Ektachrome, it's a really tricky filmstock with only about four stops of dynamic range so if you don't nail your exposure you end up blowing out the highlights or losing all the shadow detail.

Because I wasn't metering the light between shots like I should have been I ended up under exposing a lot of the roll, thankfully though, some photos turned out all right! At least I have a better idea of this film's characteristics and how to shoot it next time!

As well as capturing everybody dancing in their regalia I also wanted to get some close up portraits, I didn't have the best positioning so I ended up taking a lot of side profile shots I still think a lot of them turned out really nice!
