Warning long post… This December Jackie is graduating from Texas A&M, it’s also where her brother Jake graduated. Where her sister Amy graduated, where her fiancé Josh graduated from and where her sister Abby wanted to graduate from (but didn’t get the chance to even go). If you didn’t know Jackie lost her sister this year to cancer and I just wanted to take this time to say how proud I am of her and how she is navigating this time while also trying to plan a wedding and focusing on graduating. Jackie, I could not be more proud of how you are handling things and how you continue to put 1 foot in front of the other, even when it seems impossible. I’m so proud of how you have faced everything thrown at you and still continued to show so much grace and bravery. Even while this is such an exciting time it is still so bittersweet. I just want you to remember that when you walk across that stage in December, Abby is with you every step of the way and she will be with you for every step in life maybe not physically like we all want, but she is there in spirit. I love you and I’m so excited to see you graduate!
