POV: You don’t realize you’re watching the last chapter until it’s already over.

One day they’ll stop reaching for your finger in the parking lot.
They’ll stop wrapping their tiny hand around yours without thinking.
They’ll stop needing you to guide every step.

There won’t be an announcement.
No warning.
Just one day… it will be the last time.

That’s why I photograph the little things.

The chubby knuckles.
The tiny fingernails.
The way their whole hand still disappears inside yours.

Because years from now, these details won’t just remind you how they looked…
they’ll remind you how it felt to be needed.

This idea came to me at 3am one night, and I couldn’t wait to bring it to life. Forever grateful for my girls — they’ll always be my biggest inspiration and my little muses.

They were truly just our babies… and now they’re walking into their next chapter with big dreams and personalities larger than life.

The sass, the confidence, the wonder. One day your little pre-k graduate will be graduating for real… and you’ll wonder how it all happened so fast. And for the parents sending off a high school senior this summer, these portraits freeze one of the last big milestones before they step into the world on their own. Childhood moves quickly — these sessions are about holding onto just a little piece of it forever.
