Guido Venitucci Photography I love to engage with people I photograph and knowing their stories, I feel that creating a bond

Having been an Actor, Director and Acting Coach, I know the importance of being yourself in front of a camera. I set the goal for myself to always take a shot when there is life in it and when the subject is the most comfortable. I love to engage with people I photograph and knowing their stories, I feel that creating a bond even if for a short time is what matters the most when taking a picture.

I met Jaynalie when she was just a little bean…
Now she’s about to turn 16.

There’s something really special about watching someone grow up in front of your camera.
For the past 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing Jaynalie, and every time she steps into the studio, there’s a little more depth, a little more confidence, a little more of her.
She dances, she sings, she acts… she competes at a high level… she truly is the whole package.
But beyond all of that, what I love most is that she’s stayed grounded in who she is. That honesty, that openness, that presence… it’s still there, just stronger.
I won’t lie, it’s a little bittersweet to see how fast time moves.
But it’s also a gift to witness it.
Really proud of you, Jaynalie. This is just the beginning.

Stillness is a superpower.

Anabelle doesn’t need to push.
She doesn’t need to “show” you anything.
You lean in… and it’s all already there.
Soft. Grounded. Present.
And then suddenly, there’s a whole story happening behind the eyes.
That kind of quiet depth?
That’s what casting holds onto.
No tricks. No overplaying.
Just truth.

4th time in front of my camera and it shows.

Blake Donovan doesn’t “try” to act… she just is.
Focused, present, dialed in, every single frame.

Honestly one of the most committed young actors I’ve worked with. And it’s no surprise she stays busy and keeps booking.

This is what happens when talent meets work ethic.
No shortcuts. No pretending. Just truth.

Always a joy, Blake (and Mom)👏

Taryn and her Mom made the trip up from Connecticut, referred by , and from the start she was just… on.

Engaged, curious, totally at ease in front of the camera. No overthinking, no forcing anything, just showing up and letting moments happen. Honestly moved like a pro way beyond her years.

We kept it simple and let her personality do the work, every look had something different going on. That kind of natural range is gold.
And yes, worth the trip to Beacon 🙂

Stop trying so hard.
Seriously.
Most actors walk into a shoot thinking they need to prove something… more expressions, more intensity, more “range.”
That’s usually when it falls apart.
Carrie did the opposite.
She slowed down, let go of the need to impress, and just showed up. No noise, no performance, no mask.
And that’s exactly why these work.
Because casting isn’t looking for how much you can do… they’re looking for who you are when you’re not trying.

This is it.

Two completely different energies. Same actor.

This was my second time photographing who came up from Maryland to the Beacon studio to create a set of images that really show his range as an actor.

On one side, grounded, intense, the kind of character you don’t want to cross.
On the other, bold, physical, confident presence.
That’s what great actor headshots are about. Not posing. Not trying to “look cool.”
It’s about revealing the different stories casting directors can see in you.
José brought it.
Actors, if you’re building a portfolio, think about contrast and authenticity, not just one safe look.
Beacon NY studio, just north of NYC.
Always worth the trip.

I first photographed when she was 14. Now she’s in her 20s and still one of my favorite people to have in front of the camera. When you work with someone for this long, the trust is already there, which means we can play, experiment, and capture a full range of who they are.
From quirky and playful to grounded and dramatic.
Actors need range, and Shea always brings it.

Actor headshots photographed in my Beacon, NY studio, welcoming actors from NYC and across the Hudson Valley.
