This Panther Paw LHS Senior Spotlight is shining on Kaylee Johnson (pictured with her twin brother, Micah). After graduation, Kaylee plans to further her career in academics and athletics at the collegiate level, pursing her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher. While at LHS, Kaylee participated in volleyball, basketball, track, weightlifting, NHS, and was awarded a High Character Award. Additionally, she was named to1st team all-district for volleyball.
In her free time, Kaylee enjoys playing volleyball and supporting her boyfriend and best friend in their sports. Her favorite memory at LHS was traveling with the Varsity Volleyball team to Wimberley, Texas when her coach hit a tree pulling in the driveway to their house.
Of all the things she will miss about LHS, she will especially miss being a high school athlete and being able to know most, if not all, the people in her class. She is particularly proud of being chosen for the High Character of the week award by Jessica Ladner.
Kaylee would like to leave LHS with these Words of Wisdom: “Never take a day for granted; your senior year goes by in the blink of an eye.” Congratulations, Kaylee!🐾💛🎓🎉🙌
