It's officially the time of year when my social media gets a little neglected!

But I do have a couple things to share...

• Tomorrow, Sept. 7, is another Monday Mini Headshot Day!
If you don’t have Labor Day evening plans, I’d love to see you for a quick and easy session. These are perfect for seniors, or really anyone who needs a fresh headshot!

New this year are Monday Mini Headshots!

These are 10 minute sessions available on select Mondays this fall for seniors who need a quick yearbook photo or want something super simple. I am an approved yearbook photographer for Xenia High School and can submit your chosen headshot straight to the yearbook advisor. Other schools, please check your yearbook policy first.

These Mondays aren't only for seniors if you want an alternative to school pictures or some quick pics just for fun. It's also a great opportunity for business professionals who need a headshot!

The first Mini Monday of the season is coming up on August 24 at the Narrows Reserve in Beavercreek. Available times starting at 6:30pm.
Other currently scheduled Mondays are
Sept 7, Oct 5, and Nov 2

Four years ago this week I did something that probably looked a little crazy.

At an age when many people are counting down to retirement, I was starting a business from scratch. 320 Photography was born because I finally found the courage to pursue something that had been growing in my heart for years.

Starting a business in my 50s hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had to learn new technology, build a brand, market myself, and step into an industry where many photographers are young enough to be my kids. My social media presence may be more cringy than trendy, but I also know your photos will matter long after the trends have changed.

These years of life have taught me that photography is about so much more than taking beautiful pictures. It’s things like calming nervous seniors, encouraging parents through all the emotions, and noticing the little moments that matter most. I love creating photos you can feel, but even more than that, I want every person who steps in front of my camera to feel seen, comfortable, and completely themselves.

The name 320 Photography comes from my life verse Ephesians 3:20. Looking back over these four years I can absolutely say God has done more than I asked or imagine. Every senior every family, every athlete and every person who has trusted me with their memories has been part of this incredible journey.

Thank you for supporting a dream that started later than most, but right on time.

Here’s to year 5!

Always a smile.

That’s how I’ll remember her - welcoming, kind and always cheering on those around her. It was always a joy to see her at the score table when I photographed Xenia’s lacrosse games.
