Dearest Clients- Old & New,
I hope everyone is settling into the New Year and staying well.
I just wanted to take a moment to share a quick note about photo sharing and crediting, as I have had a few questions come up regarding this recently.
When you receive your photos from me, you are absolutely welcome- and encouraged- to share them on social media and with friends and family. I love seeing you enjoy and celebrate your images!
If you do post them online, I kindly ask that you please give credit by tagging my photography page or mentioning my name in the caption whenever possible, especially the first time. This helps support my small business and allows others to find my work as well. Essentially you are giving your photographer a "tip" like you do when you go out to dinner, or have a pizza delivered. Most clients don't think to offer a monetary tip to their photographers, which we usually go above and beyond in our work, and this is a way to do so. Supporting your photographer in the smallest ways, helps not only their business grow, but them to provide for their families. Afterall, this is a job for most of us.
Additionally, please avoid cropping out watermarks or applying filters to the images, as this can change the look and quality of the photos and misrepresent my work. This is also discussed and outlined in the contracts that clients sign before their sessions with me.
