I know. I know. It's about time 😆😜
Honestly, I've been watching and watching to narrow down the foot traffic spikes, peak hours or core hours of each day of the week for an art gallery to be open/ closed. I mean, art is underrated or overlooked... or so they say 😏. I would love to go from devaluation to appreciation. Right?!
So, here I am, sharing what I absolutely love to do. I mean, it's God Himself that designed me to be who I am: Artistic, creative, encouraging. And I have proof, Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." I truly believe this is my calling in life☝️🥰.
With this comes observation. This is a small town, BUT that shouldn't stop us, right?! We can strive BUT NOT surrender to the ups and downs of living in a small town.
My goal is to co-mingle with some outstanding business owners, I mean the stakes are high 😜 right here on main street, the sidewalk of opportunity!
Let's start with the family-owned Old Tyme Meat Shoppe where custom beef processing happens and the retail meat selection for on-the-go snacks~ meats for grilling~ stocking the freezer~~ OH MY😄 What? I had no idea 🤭 but so cool, nonetheless. Oh, BTW, their processing calendar is filling up fast so give them a jingle.
And let's NOT butt in next door... okay LETS! Jess at The Raven Brew, she has the deliciousness of Iced or Hot brewed coffee and a plethora of flavors for a refresher and the deli snacky snacks? Yum! She's always brewing up something cool over there 😜
Next up, follow me to the next neighbor... a work of art! (I had to say it, lol) It's a place of art, landscape and wildlife photography in a rustic and quaint gallery. Oh, and it has a cute little gift shop 🫠 RJD Visual Art Studio. Hey, bring your coffee and take a gander. Or sit outside and watch the cars drive by 😆 maybe send off a wave, too!
I also believe we have a business office between my building and Burly's, called 12 Point Custom Builders, INC. They are the construction crew that gave me a facelift 😂🤣 NO, not me... my business, lol (I've never had one done and nor will I ever, FYI 😅). Keep your eyes appealed for their signage on the building. Good things are happening over there... 🪜🛠️🧲⛓️ 💥🔨tink tink Oh, and they have a page also 😉.
And after a hard day's work, you can't help but notice the foot traffic entering and exiting none other than Burly's Roughrider Bar & Steakhouse! And the expression "follow your nose" it takes you there too! The crew there are awesome and the food? Need I say more?... No, you can't because your mouth is full of that delicious steak, sandwich, salad or apps and the cold glass of whatever it is you wash your food down with! It's FAN-tabulous 😋!
Lastly, Thompson Hardware..................................................... Have you seen all the really cool stuff in there? I mean treasure, in there? Wow! I'm an artsy- fartsy kinda' gal, but it's when I recognize antiques/ relics/ heirlooms/ collectibles (clears throat... I'm ageing myself here) from back in the day when I was a wee-bit, boy do they bring back memories of the oldy but goody days 🥹. When some say it's ancient history... oh no, it's not at all! It's a breath of fresh air when I can reminisce. It's a heart check, indeed!
