“Beautiful, simple, fun” was the vision Elaina and Sam had in their hearts for their wedding day, and it was really nothing but that. These two truly deserve it all; I cannot say enough good things about them.
I’m going to share a little story about this day because it was such a whirlwind for me. I had just gotten off of what was probably one of my craziest shifts at work - nonstop all day and night trying to figure out a whole assortment of people’s problems. I was running on almost no sleep when I ventured off with my cameras and a big ball of anxiety in the pit of my stomach, knowing that I had my outside personality on for way too long already 😂 All of my exhaustion, frustration, and anxiety fell away as soon as I started working with this couple and their incredible families. Every single person at this wedding was radiating positivity and good energy. It was really humbling to be included. I can only hope I was able to trap some of it into these photos. I left with the reminder to always try to shamelessly celebrate the good in life, no matter what fleeting feeling you have in the moment. If you think this is cheesy, you should have been there 😅
