I have a strong passion for photography and the work I create. Getting to photograph this sweet girl as a newborn and again for her first birthday is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. Watching tiny babies grow into curious, giggly little personalities never gets old. And even better when you see some of those first born features still popping through: peep those amazing natural highlights! I wish my hair looked as good!

There is no one quite like the 3rd baby. They are a very special addition to the family at a time when you think you’ve got it all figured out, when at least one of your older kids is a tiny independent, and when everyone can dote on them, love them and experience love through new eyes. People say Baby #3 is easy, chill, and go with flow, but I think as parents we learn to slow down with the 3rd baby and that makes all the difference.

Just good light, comfy spaces, and a whole lot of personality! I love that we chose to do family photos in the Miller home, and even more that we got these photos done before the snowstorm!!

It’s already the middle of January and I am behind on posts, this was my last session of 2025 and it was so fun. I absolutely love an extended family session, especially one with babies and toddlers. It is so refreshing to see how attentive all the adults are to each child, whether she is their child or not. The Nikolais were just amazing to work with and I really love how every aunt and uncle, mom and dad, had a special connection with each child. Plus, 3 little baby girls all only 3-4 months apart never disappoints 😊
