Hat band and a ring are what I’ve been working on! The hat band is adjustable to fit a smaller size. Currently on a 7&1/4 hat. All pieces from the same elk antler.

$150 plus shipping.

The ring is a polished elk antler, fits approximately a size 10.5. I’m in my beginning stages of ring making and can do more sizes but these are difficult to make look good.

$35 plus shipping.

We have been experimenting with resin a lot lately and it’s pretty cool what you can do with it. Here is a butterfly and flowers forever preserved in resin. Neat stuff! Today was rough. It was 100°, muggy, buggy and everything I hate about summer.

I hiked Bull Hill over Spottedtail Pond with a minimal hope that I may find an antler or two. With the impossibly tall grass, shrubs and numerous downed trees, the odds were stacked against me in finding anything.

So why did I do it? Because making jewelry from antlers is a hobby I learned from my mother and feel compelled to continue in her name. I can’t just go to the local hobby store and find these things. They have to be sourced.

I don’t own a ranch with large hay grounds, antler finding hounds, or access to places with numerous antlers. So, we have to do it this way.

It’s a labor of love. A labor of blood, a lot of sweat, and even some tears. Finding antlers is so satisfying but man it can be hard. I can’t wait to get crafting again. I just hope that when some of my jewelry feels too expensive, it’s because not only does it take time but a whole lot of effort to produce.

So thank you to everyone who continues to support what I do. It means the world to me.

Today is kind of a bittersweet day for me. These are the last three necklaces I will be offering before summer.

My bandsaw decided to die and I am relinquishing my crafting area to Brandon’s sons to come visit for the summer. We truly hoped to be in a bigger space but as usual, my plans didn’t work out.

All three of these beauties are set in elk antler. If you want matching earrings, unfortunately you’ll have to wait until August to get them. ❤️
