Hopping on here at the start of the super busy season to get some feedback on ideas for The Pumpkin Walk before it's here! Right now I'm leaning towards Casper's Mansion or a gamer/neon theme...but open to other suggestions. Shoot me your thoughts!

The Pumpkin Walk will be on Saturday, October 10th from 12-4pm and I will be doing photos from 12-3pm! Advance tickets for photos are $15 for 1 digital image with a reserved time frame, or $20 at the door!

As always, the kids will get a special take home treat and the studio will be filled with fun themed selfie stations while you wait. I can't believe it's that time of year already but it's a favorite event getting to see everyone in those amazing costumes lining the streets!

Destination shoot with an up-and-coming artist? Yes, please. Nashville at 7 am was already pushing 90 degrees, and we were sweaty pretty much immediately 😂. But that didn’t stop us from turning it into an all-day adventure. Sunrise, outfit changes, wandering Nashville with cameras in hand…this was such a fun one. And when I say I will absolutely work for an excuse to travel, I mean it. Have camera, will travel. 😉

Okay, I need your help!

I’ve heard from a lot of parents throughout the summer saying they’d love for their kids to take my Snapshots Photography Class…but the timing just hasn’t worked out.

So before I keep moving dates around, tell me what would actually work best for your family:

Four Saturday mornings this fall?
Weekdays right after school?
Keep it as a summer morning class?
Is the cost the biggest hurdle?
Something else?

Unfortunately, for multiple reasons I think I’m going to have to postpone next week’s class (emailing those that have signed up!), but that gives me a chance to rethink the schedule before setting new dates.

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments—or send me a message if you’d rather.

I love doing these classes so much. A former student reached out to me a few weeks ago to tell me how much she loved taking the class and to ask for advice as she continues to pursue photography. That is the whole reason I love doing these so much! I love knowing I may have helped spark a creative passion, and it brings complete joy hearing from former students years later!
