New video for a home listing in Bellingham. The weather cooperated and the fall colors helped overcome the low angle of the sun this time of year.

I had the opportunity to produce a video tour for a large home on 5 acres above Lake Whatcom in Bellingham. The house was very nice, with a great view. The detached 5-bay shop was the icing on the cake for me. Thanks to Bellingham Real Estate- Kristal Grimstead for the opportunity to feature this beautiful home.

It was a nice day to take a few stock photos of Fairhaven. The 180° Panorama facing NNW gives an interesting, though distorted perspective of the town.

You never know if making a special trip back to a house to capture the sunset will be worth the effort.

I had the opportnity to shoot some commercial real estate on the Bellingham waterfront recently. The Granary Building has been a fixture in Bellingham for ages, and has been converted to be used for commercial office and retail space as part of the ongoing waterfront redevelopment. I always enjoy shooting near water, despite the obvious dangers to the drone should something go wrong.

Had a great shoot with Nick Graves last night out at Sandy Point in Ferndale, WA. Any time water is involved it seems the images have a bit more magic. The client asked me to fly at dusk but I also wanted to shoot some daylight images. I flew 3 separate times over the course of a couple hours and it's amazing how things changed. Here are a few shots of the same angle with different lighting conditions. If you're looking for a place with your own dock, this may be for you. The boat goes with the house.

A few images from a shoot last night on Chuckanut Drive. The client wanted photos after dusk. As the light fades so does the color, so I needed to get the color of the sunset reflected in the windows to add some color back in.

Sometimes a house is doing everything it can to avoid being photographed. This little home on N. State Street was pretty tucked in behind the trees and power lines, but I managed to get some great shots. The weather could not have been more cooperative. Not only was the lighting great, but the wind was minimal. Had it been breezy I might have lost the drone trying to maneuver around all the obstacles.
