next year will mark 10 years of Brian and I doing this whole thing full time. but it wasn’t always like this…
we started as traditional wedding photographers. shot your standard 150-200 person wedding, with crowded rooms, tight timelines, days that moved so fast you could barely breathe.
and I remember loving our couples, but feeling this disconnect in a way I couldn’t really explain yet.
because in between weddings, we were here.
in the mountains, on the road, dirt baggin’ it, living out of the car sometimes so we could go to our dream places. where everything just felt more us, ya know?
but we’d come back home and go right back into something that just didn’t feel like us.
and it took a while to figure out that really…weddings just weren’t our thing. because the thing was THIS.
we were always chasing THIS.
