Grub S***s originated after a weekend of bo***ir photos with a group of women who came together, encouraged each other, and supported one another. After that weekend I felt what the power of a collective group, coming together with the same goal, can really do.
That experience was obviously on a much, much smaller scale than what is happening in the U.S. right now. This last week has shown us how powerful we are, how we can use our platforms on social media to talk about systemic racism, white privilege, and police brutality, and what a difference we can make when we come together on the streets to protest for Black lives.
I want to use this platform in every way that I can to stand up and fight for racial justice. Back in December when I got the 2020 calendars in the mail, the back was printed upside down. I got a new batch printed and set misprinted calendars aside. I know we’re half way through this fu**ed up year, but I’m selling the misprinted calendars for $15, and 100% of proceeds will go to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
The calendar is available on our website - www.thegrubsluts.com (link in our bio)
The Grub S***s crew will be attending & participating in the peaceful protest taking place tomorrow in Bellingham. We’ll see you there.
