The day began with getting ready at the hotel, followed by a private first look at Borderland State Park before heading to Saphire Estate for the celebration. Their first dance was one of those moments that made the entire room pause, elegant, emotional, and absolutely beautiful to see and photograph.

Some weddings feel like home, when they say; I trust your vision.. This is when the magic happens, this is how we create and just capture the moment!

One of my favorite details from this wedding was the vintage getaway car, complete with the “Just Married” sign and cans trailing behind it. It felt straight out of an old movie and made the perfect ending to the ceremony.

The Grove is such a sweet Massachusetts venue because everything happens right there, getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place. The property has so many little corners for photos, the food was fantastic, and we even slipped away nearby for a few portraits by the winery.

A relaxed day, a little vintage romance, golden light, and one very memorable getaway car.

Minha Sony A7 IV decidiu pedir demissão no meio da cerimônia. Sem aviso prévio. 😂😭📸

Tirei uma foto normalmente. Quando fui fazer o segundo clique, apareceu algo preto na tela. Como eu estava usando zoom, jurei que tinha um tripé na minha frente… até tirar a lente e descobrir que o “tripé” estava DENTRO da câmera. 🫠

Entrei em desespero? Por aproximadamente três segundos. Depois peguei minha segunda câmera e continuei fotografando, porque profissional não leva apenas uma câmera e esperança para um casamento. Leva backup!

Então, se você está contratando um fotógrafo, pergunte:

“Você leva uma câmera reserva?”
“Tem lentes, flashes e cartões extras?”
“A minha cobertura terá um segundo fotógrafo?”

Equipamento profissional também falha. O que não pode falhar é o plano B.

Hoje minha A7 IV me deixou na mão, mas o casamento continuou normalmente. A substituta já foi comprada e temos dois casamentos neste fim de semana — tudo sob controle!

A câmera chorou. Eu quase chorei. Mas o backup salvou o dia. 😂
