"For A Moment- The Light Held Us"...

I found this solitary, snow-wrapped tree perched above an untouched drift—its long shadow cutting a dark line across the smooth slope. The scene presents a study in texture and negative space: frosted bark, whispering crystals, and a sky that lets the forms speak for themselves.

Shot as a black-and-white photograph during a winter trek... I kept returning to the contrast between the tall, almost-figurative sentinel and the softer, curving mound. It feels fragile and defiant at once.

"Suncadia" — I woke to this light... Mist threaded between the firs and the sun poured through in long beams that made everything slow down. Now, for something that is not in my usual wheelhouse… I’ve always liked work that makes you pause for a second. This piece, “Second Thoughts”, sits in that in-between space where texture, shadow, and form start to feel a little psychological.
