Hey everyone! My name is Jordin, and I wanted to hop on here, introduce myself, and show the face behind the camera.
Photography started as a way for me to capture my son growing up, but it quickly became my biggest passion. About a year ago, I began offering free sessions to gain experience, and before long I was photographing families and couples. A few months later, I received my very first elopement inquiry and that’s where I met Krystle York, the officiant, my business partner, and now one of my closest friends.
I was born and raised in Washington State and have lived all over the country before finally settling in Texas about three years ago. I never imagined photography would become my job. I’ve always loved it, but after becoming a mom, preserving memories took on a whole new meaning. What started out as a hobby turned into something that completely changed my life.
When I first dreamed about photographing elopements and weddings, it felt so far out of reach. Now, I get to do exactly that, and it’s all because of the amazing people who trusted me with their memories. Every couple, every family, and every session has helped make this dream of mine a reality.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me being a mama to my 1½ year old son, spending time with my husband, and hanging out with my fellow mama friends. We share our home with four dogs and eight chickens, and I absolutely love the simple, fulfilling life we’ve built together.
