And so were the people in it!

From girls who lived three doors down to adults building families, businesses, and dreams--this friendship has stood the test of time, and I am forever grateful for how our lives have stayed so beautifully intertwined, despite the chaos of everyday life!

She’s the kind of friend who shows up, cheers you on, and leads by example: steadfast, compassionate, and driven to make the world better. She and her husband drove over an hour just to help me grow my photography portfolio, and that’s so her--always showing up for the people she cares for.

Grateful for lifelong friends who become family, for pumpkin patch magic, and for the reminder of how far we’ve come.

Some people shine in front of the camera.
She brought the light with her.

Poised, kind, and wise beyond her years — she’s led blood drives, taught CPR, baked for causes close to her heart, and shown up for her community in quiet, powerful ways.

I came to this session ready to cheer her on — and somehow, she became a cheerleader for me.

Without even realizing it, she played a hand in showing me I was ready to step into this photography dream full time.

The kind of teenager who makes you believe in the future.

Big news — I’m stepping into this dream full-time!

I bought my first pro camera with hope: that it would pay for itself and let me capture the seasons I didn’t want to miss — like this one right here: my daughter at one year old. (In fact, this was THE first photo I ever captured!)

I couldn’t afford professional photos at the time, but I could start learning. And as I began photographing other families too, the purpose behind it all grew bigger than I imagined.

What began as BB Photography is now becoming something more personal and inspired:

Little Beacons Everywhere LLC.

The name is rooted in what I believe deeply — that there are pockets of light all around us, if we choose to look. Curls in sunlight, toddler grins, golden-hour giggles — these are the beacons I love to find and frame.

This isn’t just a rebrand — it’s the why behind what I do.
