A little September reminder from someone who is also VERY over the Texas heatā€¦

I know weā€™re ready for cooler mornings, football weather, sweaters and everything that comes with fall.

But before we rush this season away, maybe we should stop and appreciate a little bit of what we have right now.

The warm golden light.
The long summer evenings.
The crazy beautiful sunsets.
The fact that thereā€™s still so much daylight left in the day.

Because as much as weā€™re begging for cooler weather right now, there will come a day when the days are shorter, the sun goes down early, and weā€™re bundled up wishing we could have just a little bit of this sunshine back.

Maybe we donā€™t have to love the heat to appreciate the season weā€™re in.

Whatā€™s one thing about summer youā€™re going to miss when the weather finally cools off?
